Celebration of European Day of Languages

To celebrate the European Day of Languages (September 26), we began creating our shared Forest Dictionary, filled with words related to the forest, its treasures, and its living beings.
Each partner school chose one forest-related word, crafted it artistically, translated it into English, and contributed it to our common project!

Our school chose the word “tree”. With the kind help of Ms. Lamprini, our English teacher, we translated it into English and even recorded ourselves saying it aloud!

Getting to Know the Project Countries: Discovering Their Flags and Symbols

As an activity to help children get to know the countries involved in our European project, our pupils explored the flags of each participating nation.

Through playful learning, they practiced recognizing the different flags and discovered that each country has its own unique flag as a symbol of identity and culture.

A colorful way to connect with the world—one flag at a time!

Initial Questionnaire for Pupils and Educators

Before joining the project, we carried out a pre-assessment of our pupils to record their knowledge, opinions, and skills related to forests and the protection of the natural environment.
This first step helped us shape meaningful activities based on their needs and understanding.

At the same time, the educators also completed a questionnaire aiming to capture their knowledge and experience in environmental education and the STEAM pedagogical approach.
Their insights offered valuable guidance for planning collaborative and innovative learning experiences.
