FOREST GNOMES TEAM - We created our gnomes using small tree branches. Our forest is well protected by this fantastic team.

We poured water on three boxes: one with only soil, one with dry leaves, and one with a plant. We watched what happened to the soil and the water. The plant helped keep the soil in place and stopped the water from running fast. We learned that plants protect the earth and help stop floods

We participated in the collaborative activity, poster "Danger of the forest". Božena Sinkevičienė, Mickunu kindergarten, Lithuania wrote a sentence about the dangers of the forest and we made the illustration and arranged the poster.

Safe Internet 

Benefits of the Forest. Poster.

 We created, in collaboration with kindergarten teacher Terzopoulou Georgia and the 2nd Kindergarten of Kastoria, a poster about one of the benefits of forests.

STEAM Activity: Experiments on the benefits of the forest.

 We explore and discover how oxygen is produced by tree leaves. We put the leaves in a basin of water and exposed them to the warmth of the sun. After a few hours we observed the bubbles that are created and contain oxygen.

Beebot Activity. Benefits of the Forest.

 We name and lead the beebot to the multiple benefits that our forests offer us.

Forest Diorama

 We created our own forest diorama from plasticine. Our little hands worked with great love on the forest animals and after we created them, we placed them in a model of the forest, thus completing our diorama.

Safer Internet Day 2025

 We participated in the online seminar on safe internet use for kindergarten students on February 13th, 2025.

 Promoting Forest Benefits with Collaborative Posters!

In our project, we teamed up with a school from Lithuania to create a poster about forest benefits. The Lithuanian school wrote the slogan “The forest is home to us all,” and our school illustrated it. After discussing and exploring the meaning, we designed the artwork to best express the message!

Safer Internet Day 2025

 Safer Internet Day has grown into one of the most important initiatives to raise awareness about online safety. Starting in 2005 as an action to promote digital literacy, it has now managed to unite people from all over the world, with more than 180 countries and regions actively participating every year.

Aiming to highlight contemporary issues in the digital world, this day encourages cooperation and action to create a safer, responsible and positive internet.

Our Kindergarten participates in the celebration of Safer Internet Day by sending its own message together with the children.

We watched relevant videos, played digital games and created our own poster.
